What does the NSF say about KDF?
The NSF, (National Sanitation Foundation International) is the highest accreditation laboratory in the United States water quality industry. To be certified by NSF, the product must attain the highest standard level that has been established for that particular category of product by NSF. The ANSI/NSF Standard 42 protocol approval for drinking water treatment units-Aesthetic Effects (taste, odor, and chlorine reduction) has been granted to KDF-55 media.
